Privacy Policy
PC Balance is designed as a lightweight static calculator. This page explains what information the site does and does not need in order to work.
Calculator inputs
The CPU, GPU, resolution, workload, RAM, and target-FPS choices used by the bottleneck calculator are processed by the site's client-side JavaScript. PC Balance does not require an account or a server-side profile in order to calculate a result.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the service according to Cloudflare's own policies and service terms.
Web analytics
PC Balance may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first, and its Core Web Vitals collection does not use cookies or localStorage for usage metrics. PC Balance does not use analytics to store your selected CPU/GPU combination as a personal profile.
Retailer links
Some result sections link to third-party retailers such as Amazon or Newegg. When you follow an external link, that third party may collect information under its own privacy policy. PC Balance does not control the retailer's website or data practices.
Cookies and local storage
The current calculator does not require PC Balance account cookies to function. If future features introduce accounts, personalization, advertising, or other technologies that materially change data handling, this policy will be updated before those features are treated as part of the normal service.
Policy changes
This policy may change as the project gains new tools or services. Meaningful changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page.
